Our Story
A family who built the container they always wished existed.

Kim & Jason
From years inside the retreat world — to building a softer one.
After more than a decade working inside the global plant medicine world, Kimberly and Jason Ocaña kept noticing the same gap: people were having profound experiences, but coming home to almost no support. Containers felt too big. Care felt too thin. The work was real, but the holding wasn't.
They founded Ananda to do it differently. A small lodge, in a place they love, with a small group of people they could truly see. A container where ceremony is held with reverence — and the days before and after are held with just as much care.
Today, Ananda is a family business in every sense. Their children run through the gardens, the chef knows everyone's name, and guests often say it feels less like a retreat and more like coming home.
Our Prayer
That through trauma-informed, somatic care we help create a world that is a little softer — more compassionate, more grounded, more able to hold one another.
